Mike Mitchell Construction, Inc., is founded on the basic principle that good people working together can achieve great results. Mike Mitchell began his career in his twenties as an electric utility lineman. After a few years, he decided that he was not content with a future of climbing power poles, so he pursued, and soon earned, his California General Contractor License. Then, in 1976, Mike Mitchell Construction was born!
Being a native of Arroyo Grande, California, Mike Mitchell had his humble beginning on the
beautiful Central Coast of California. It was not long before his reputation for hard, honest work and attention to detail, spread to other regions and even out of state. Over the years, Mike has worked with private families, small and large businesses, and defense contractors. Whether a job is large or small, it always received the same amount of attention and dedication.
In the past decade, Mike Mitchell has turned his focus toward project management and consultation. His years of swinging hammers have given him the experience needed to speak knowledgeably to owners and other contractors of all trades. His natural business sense has helped him not only survive over 40 years of up-turns and down-turns of the construction market, but also helped him turn two other struggling companies into thriving businesses. Lastly, his fun-loving, professional, and positive attitude have endeared him to his many clients and subcontractors, ensuring his business relationships will continue long into the future.
